We are not going to be improved at LT because Whit is another year older coming off a season in which he had a noticeable slide from 2018.
We are not going to be improved at Center because Blythe is a subpar starter whose signing was to hold the spot for a rookie to develop.
Now those things aside there is still room for the Rams to improve on the line but it puts greater emphasis on Edwards, Evans, Corbett, and Havenstein. I understand the approach even if I would have done it differently, but regardless whether this line grows into a unit that is befitting a Super Bowl team comes down to those other three positions raising the bar.
I'm skeptical but who knows maybe this will work out. Gonna root and hope as I always do.
What would you have done differently at this stage of day 1 of free agency?
All of the really good OL free agent options got franchised tagged and never made it to the market.
