Since this does not make much sense I have to assume it's a precursor to something.
They did this because the Rams are so deep at corner.
There's obviously Ramsey. Hill played very well last year. As did Darious Williams. And they drafted Long, who is very promising.
They might draft one more, depending, but that is about as deep a CB unit as I have ever seen the Rams carry, going back decades.
