I think we are in a safe place with Weaver. Curtis Weaver.
As far as Evan Weaver, I got so tired about hearing on this board how JL was a drag down tackler. I mean really tired. It just got old. So now I lean towards 2 types of ILBers: Big plodding hammers or faster, sideline to sideline guys that can at least cover and maybe turn some of that speed into an explosion at the point of contact.
So I like guys like Quarterman (a hammer) or Davis-Gaither (sideline to sideline missile) over a guy like Evan Weaver or maybe Dye.
In all honesty, I like the thought of playing 2 ILBers on first 2 downs like a Littleton/Quarterman combo, then sub Quarterman out for a 3rd safety that can also handle himself in the box. Like a Chinn or Duggar this year or a Abram or Rapp last year.
