I would guess that the Rams aren't looking at Coleman as a potential started in 2020. If Fowler leaves I would almost guarantee that the next starter is already on the roster.

For arguements sake let's say that's Obo. His promotion to starter would open up a roster spot for a developmental edge who could also contribute on special teams. If that turns out to be Coleman I personally don't see that as an issue, especially if his talent lands him in the 'mid to late' rounds. As opposed to 7th.
