The total value of all the Rams' contracts is over $700M. I agree that there isn't an owner in the NFL that would have any problem paying off those contracts as they come due. But how many of them have $700M liquid that they can deposit into an escrow account to cover future guarantees?
The NFL network contracts covers the cap, but not any required escrow. That''s above and beyond. As are coaches's contracts.
