Which do you think an NFL would prefer to do:
A.) Borrow $700M and deposit it into an escrow account to cover the guaranteed contracts his team signed.
B.) Pay off guaranteed contracts out of their operating capital as they come due on a game-to-game basis.
It should be pretty clear that 'B' is the right answer .... but I'm willing to listen to the 'A' team.
