At one point the players wanted it, i'm sure the owners didn't. Now years later, the players don't want it and I'm sure the owners do.

Its going to be interesting to see how this plays out with the owners. This specific clause. Because you have to think maybe the less rich owners probably would also like to get rid of it, while the more rich owners would like to keep it in place? Maybe they all want it in place due to keeping the guarantees lower?
