I'm not sure you can do that. A first round choice you have under contract for 5 years. Ramsey we get for 1 1/2 years then will have to pay heavily to keep. There is value in those 3 additional affordable years.
No doubt about it, but when you have a chance to acquire a young All Pro who many consider the best lock down corner in the NFL still on his rookie deal, you jump on it..... It's much easier to find cap space than great players.
