Try to avoid the strawmen. No one "put them in the pro bowl." They did however play exceptionally well--and no surprise either because that was the buzz on them going back to the summer. When Snead traded Peters away he remarked on how many teams were calling during the summer trying to trade for the Rams CB depth. So odds are it's a real thing.
It means feeling good about the secondary Staley will inherit. Moaning about a short stretch of games where Peters could not cut playing man--and doing it more than a year later--might not allow you to see that.
