The idea that Fassel or Phillips ran a "country club" with players who were unprepared? What is that even based on? Besides absolutely nothing?

How did 2 coaches who run country clubs help produce a two year 24-8 record?

Plus of course the dominant reason they did not do as well this year was the offensive line, a domino that took a lot of other dominoes with it. Maybe the country club defense undermined the OL? cool smiley

And btw on the bad punt fake, McV explained that the issue was miscommunication and that he was as much to blame as Fassell. Knowing that prevents us from leaping to the completely unfounded assumption that McV is so unstable as a young leader that he would actually fire a very good unit coach with a stellar reputation based on just one play.
