Remember...........McVay took over for Fisher.
McVay hired Phillips to be the "stabilizing" force for a young HC. Plus, coach the "D" because my plate is full. I need time to learn the HC job.
McVay kept Bones for ST coach......He had an "inside" look about the players and was also a good coach.
Now....................
McVay has a handle on the HC gig..........He see's where he can improve the team.
New coaches bring in a fresh new attitude, new ideas, new critique of players on the roster.
Change is in the air at Rams Park. It's not a knee jerk reaction......McVay has a vision for his team, he knows where this team can improve and get better!
