McVay is driven, and I mean that in the nicest possible way.
I recall AD commenting way back in ‘17 that we shouldn’t be fooled by McVay’s optimism in pressers. AD said that McVay was not at all reluctant to get on his players, including his superstars, when they screwed up in practice.
Such a leader commands respect from one and all. And it’s understood that such a leader will move mountains to improve his team. An atmosphere of “get results or you’re outta here” for coaches and players alike.
