I hate the approach of drafting mid rd guys and coach them up. This does not work. Every year I hope a lineman falls to us early in the draft and when he does....the rams always choose to pass on them or drop back for more picks and then address a different position. Goff needs protection. Gurley needs running lanes. Enough of the Austin Blythes, Allen, Noteboom types. I want to draft guys some big, tough, nasty @#$%& to push teams around. Great, long term Guards and Centers always drop to the 2nd round....not 3rd and 4th. We will have to figure out Tackle position, but interior o line should be addressed via draft.
On defense, we need to keep Littleton and extend Ramsey. The rest of the D needs to get by with good but not great players.

When you say ‘interior OL’, do you mean just C? Or C plus OG? Or all 3?
Personally, if a stud C fell to us I would understand taking him with our 2nd. I think Blythe is probably a goner and I’ve lost confidence in Allen, so I see C as a need.
I do like Edwards at RG and am on the fence with Corbett. Gonna trust Kromer on this but he’s gotta get it right. Stakes are just too darned high and a strong OL for running game is imperative.
