You are only going at half of the story in a post-loss funk mood. He has had value, he is a good deep threat AND is more than that, BUT that does not mean he is a physical receiver. And he never was. This was self-evident all along.
You are really over-doing this one. All this amnesia about the stuff Cooks did for the Rams for 2 years as a good receiver. Most people complaining about him now never complained about him while he was doing well...and this one game and all of a sudden he is worthless? Nonsense. 2 thousand yard seasons, and also since he was a threat out there he opened the offense up for the others.
Name me all the slightly built fast deep threats that are also physical receivers you regularly count on to win contested catches. Was Bruce even that? It's not many.
I hope whatever is affecting his game recently, goes away.
