Ramgator
We had just finished the years of Steve Walsh and Tony Banks. The ONLY reason why Warner made us look good was because Harrison took out Trent Green's knee. Warner surprised the hell out of Rams Nation. Rams Nation was lucky that Warner was there.
Understood Gator, but if Green wasn't hurt, there might not have ever been a HOF career for him. There wasn't anyone else beating down his door to sign him. The Rams did. So therefore KW was also "lucky" the Rams signed in the first place. It goes both ways.
I also think Martz, Vermeil, Faulk, Bruce, Holt, Hakim and that OL had a lot to do with his "growth". It's team game. KW would not have been KW without all those other players and coaches. So did KW "make us look good" or did the TEAM\COACHES make KW look good? Maybe a little of both?
As I said, I just think maybe he would have been better keeping his feelings to himself.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
