I don’t think it’s wishful thinking. I think Goff is building a connection with Everett. He’s looking for him and it will improve in the 2nd half of the season.
Everett’s problem is route running. He needs to read coverages better, he may never been terrific at it, but they will set him up with certain things and they’ll keep running them until he’s totally comfortable. Once he catches the ball, thats when he’s a big problem for defensives.
