and remember Todd "Gurley" didn't always need the biggest hole in the day... RBs don't always need the 80s Rams or the 90s Cowboys oline
You see IMO there are things you can see and measure and say "yeah those aren't the same"
For example?
His burst, & lateral movement...there was one such play that stood out yesterday as the Rams were running the clock
His quickness
I don't think its just black or white. Its clear the Rams oline has struggled and its also clear that the "Gurley" (IMO) is not capable of being the force the Rams need in their run game. RBs play behind poor olines and still get yards. Chub in Cleveland come to mind, Sequon with the NYG
I think its a combination of the two things which is why you need to get younger and lighter
