So its not like he was tearing it up for Baltimore and the only reason they gave him up was to get Peters. he was expendable because he wasn't going to play.
I didn't call him a turd, or a bum. And he is probably better then anything the Rams have next to Littleton, but a bowling ball in a garbage can is better then anything the Rams have next to Littleton at this point. All I am is saying is people might want to temper their expectations of him.
As far as Corbett, those grades are from his time at Nevada. Last time I checked, Nevada isn't the NFC west. And he couldn't beat out Eric Kush a 6th round pick from 2013...
Again, the kid is steady (was in college), but IMO (and Alyo loved both Corbett and Young so who really cares what I think anyways) he isn't going to come in and suddenly transform the 31st rated OL into anything more then the 30th ranked OL. In fact, I prefer to play the young guys and keep Corbett on the bench for depth.
I always like Kush.
There is something going on with this trade and for the price we paid it's a bargain imo. Maybe thinking of moving Allen to guard and see what the Colbert kid can do at center.
There has to be something there with the kid for Kromer to want to trade for him.
They were raving about Young today on MTC
He also has the hit of the year so far......
