What many think is a weakness of McVay and Martz, I consider it a strength.
Both are misunderstood as not wanting to run and both have coached many games where they are run dominant. The key though is they understand you do what is required to move the ball. Don't run for the sake of running and punt the ball the entire game. Run to run successful with a high yards per carry when you do run. Run with a purpose when you call a running play. Don't give up downs.
Besides the great space management and the lack of predictability, this may actually be their greatest strength is what many believe is a weakness.

It is why they go to the playoffs 90% of the time and the other coaches went 0%.
