They had 28 yards on 11 carries.
How would they have been helped by getting 56 yards on 22 carries?
They still would have needed to pass to catch up and damn near did catch up passing.
And the Bux would know they still needed to pass to catch up and would have been the same on defense, attacking a struggling OL.
No, once the Rams went into that game with a defense that was porous and an OL that was struggling, there was no one simple thing they could have done to improve that.
It was pass to catch up and win. That was either going to work (against the odds) or not.
The rest IMO is nit picking.
