Who would you let walk out of Brockers, Littleton, Peters, Talib, and Fowler? And who would you prioritize keeping?

That's a damm good question.

Nobody asked, but, if'n it wuzz me, I would base it on what the depth looked like and what the draft looked like.

Littleton. I like him a lot and expect a good season. But Howard is shining bright in the coaches's eyes, and could be the next guy up to play the position at a high level.

Fowler. This year OLB rushers/4-3 DEs were going for around 17 M, and next year it will be more. If Fowler is a 10-12 sack guy, he's absolutely a candidate to keep, but how do Patrick and Obo look?

Talib. Short deal? He's a smart leader, and from all appearances steadies the secondary.

Peters will cost, assuming he plays well. But the Rams not only have depth at CB, they're very good at finding DBs. Like in 2012 when they found 3 starters in one draft, including one UDFA (Johnson, Jenkins, McLeod).

So do I trust my depth at CB and add more draft picks to it?

Brockers. That really depends on how the draft looks, cause there is no other 3/4 DE on the roster I don't think (unless Fox is that and I don't realize it). Plus of course, if you plan on starting a 3/4 DE and having him be any good as a rookie, he has to be a high pick. So this one has more questions.

The draft? They will need more OL to add to what they have. So it can't just be defensive depth.

The problem with keeping too many--- Not only do things tighten up in 2021 when you're paying for both the Goff and AD big contracts, after 2020 these guys are all free agents: Johnson, Kupp, Everett, and Reynolds are up. You sign too many of the 5 you list and since you can only have so many big contracts, you start eliminating some of THESE guys too.

Then after 2021, it's Noteboom, Allen, Woods, Obo, Joseph-Day, and Patrick.
