I agree with you. I like Littleton as well, but given their young depth and just the relative ease of replacing ILBs they will only go so high for him.
Personally, I think they most likely have to allow Fowler and Peters to walk. Assuming both have good 2019 seasons they could end up netting 3rd round comp picks for both. Or a 3rd and 4th. And those comp picks are part of how they can remain competitive for years to come.
I think Brockers will be in a similar situation to Saffold. Going into his 9th season he may be looking for his last payday in the NFL. He can remain in LA at a lower rate or go elsewhere to get more.
I would let the players above go in order to be able to keep Johnson and Kupp. Just my opinion....
The only place I personally hesitate is Fowler. If he is a 10-12 sacks a year guy they need that. Maybe there's something with Obo and Patrick, maybe not. And if there is maybe it's time for an abundance of riches. Though Fowler will cost. The last edge OLB pass rusher 2nd contract was Za'Darius Smith (16.5 M) and he had 8.5 sacks in 2018. Baltimore let him walk to Green Bay and the Ravens view is that he had priced himself out of their range.
(I'm not counting Mack or Von Miller here because their deals are in the loftier "best defender" category.)
Peters I am less hesistant about because so far anyway (knock on wood) the Rams have been very good at finding DBs.
