especially the 4 WR run from bunch sets which would give crazy angles and quik releases for WRs and QB to make quik throws...
even spread the WRs out more - ala Detroit's Mouse Davis/Barry Sanders days...and see what can explode.
Use McVay's "same look" concepts for all 3 groupings
(10,11, 12) so
ALL plays look the same just from 3 different groupings...runs, PA passes, etc
Then cycle between all groupings within the SAME drive...yikes! Run hurry up, slow down pace etc....
That'd be some real Jedi mind-scramble for a defense to defend!! If any offense could pull that off....I think Goff is ready and our vets at WR and RB could!!
Again, just some opinions....spitballin my way to
irrelevance!!
I bet they run predominantly 11 personnel this year. You can run an infinite variety of plays from 11 personnel and there's no such thing as a defense catching up with a personnel set. (You CAN catch up with a play caller's repeat tendencies but then the solution to that is, add different plays.) What they actually worked on in OTAs and camp was adjusting more quickly when the defense post-snap gives you an unexpected or unusual look.
