Wade is great at finding these diamond in the rough LBs. We can't have experience everywhere. We have experience on our DL with Ad and Brockers and tons of experience in the secondary. Also, Fowler, Clay, Hager and are all vets. So, yes, behind them is some youth. With this ridiculously measly 53 man roster to cover so many positions 22 off and d starters plus 3 STs is already nearly half that total you don't end up with a lot of depth. Add a second string for each of the 22 starters plus the same 3 STs guys and you're up to 45. That's about how many you can dress. So there's virtually no real 3rd string allotted. There's a little roster hanky panic that goes into play with the practice squad, but it creates very thin rosters for every team. And then, you end up with guys playing multiple positions for your depth. You have 5 starting OL and test we have 7 or 8 on the game time roster. There is no backups at punter or kicker or long snapper. Most teams don't go 3 deep at QB. It's all ludicrous. The owners don't want to pay more players and that's it.
