Luck has several million dollars in the bank at the age 29. If I was given the choice between maiming myself for life over another 10M or so or walking away with my bank account and my health, I think it would be a no-brainer.
Is there a number that would make you come back though? I read one article that said it isn't unrealistic to say that Luck potentially left $500M on the table considering when his next contract would happen and the growth of the salary cap and how QB's get paid.

Money isn't everything but I'd risk a lot for $500M, especially in a game that I loved to play.
