One of my teammates from my track team knows the Principal of the Architecture firm where Andrew Luck interviewed after he graduated from Stanford. He told me that the firm wanted to hire Luck on the spot, they thought so highly of him. You can't simply go through the motions and get through architecture school so I get the feeling that Luck is a pretty intelligent person.
