It's sad and I'm sure Reid deserves plenty of sympathy but it did happen, didn't it? Looking at the situation and at Reid's coaching career in terms of how many troubled players he's been connected to seems reasonable enough without it automatically being a personal attack on him.
As far as I've heard, the guy just mentioned that Reid had troubles in his personal life in addition to his professional life so maybe there was something there? He didn't specifically bring up the son, did he?
The man's personal life should be off limits. The guy was trying to make a correlation to his troubled players by including the trouble he's had with his family. Totally classless and over the line. The guy got suspended (don't know how long) and I'm glad he did.
Even though those sons were Chiefs employees? Because that is what the radio guy was referencing. That Reid had hired family members who had trouble with the law and like some of the players that he took risks on, it was a questionable move.
