I wouldn't hire to guy to take my garbage out after what he did.
Its one thing to be critical of a coach for his coaching. Fair game and a risk inherent in the job. However, that line is crossed when someone brings a coaches personal family tragedy involving their son's death into the discussion as support for that person's opinion on the coaches ability. Even more so when that person is in the public as a professional journalist. In my mind there simply is no excuse for such garbage reporting. It lacks any semblance of professionalism. Its cheap and dirty.
And this subject has nothing to do with Reid's ability to coach. It's about the dignity afforded to another human being at a time when that person has suffered an unfathomable loss. Unfortunately some people have little or no class.
