Why is it a personal shot against Reid to point out that he hasn't been successful turning around troubled men? Saying he deserved what he got would be going too far but mentioning that something in his personal life has happened isn't necessarily an attack on him. I'm sure Reid would agree that he wasn't successful in keeping all these guys on the straight and narrow. Whether or not he was responsible is something else but if you're putting that responsibility on him or if he took it on himself, the fact is, he hasn't turned these troubled guys around.
I think you need to take another listen....he clearly made a point to bring up Andy's dead son to make some sort of point about his lack of discipline which is a f----- disgrace imo.
