Kansas City radio host Kevin Keitzman out after comments about Chiefs coach Andy Reid[

Kansas City sports radio station 810 WHB and host Kevin Kietzman “have mutually agreed to part ways” after recent comments in which Keitzman tried to draw a link between Chiefs coach Andy Reid’s family life to the team's handling of child abuse allegations levied against receiver Tyreek Hill.
The announcement was made in a joint statement published to the radio station’s website Friday.
Kietzman made the comments Monday on his “Between the Lines” show.
“Andy Reid does not have a great record of fixing players,” Kietzman said. “He doesn’t. Discipline is not his thing. It did not work out particularly well in his family life, and that needs to be added to this, as we’re talking about the Chiefs. He wasn’t real great at that either. He’s had a lot of things go bad on him, family and players."
One of Reid's sons, Garrett Reid, died of a heroin overdose in 2012. Another, Britt Reid, spent five months in jail in 2007 and now is entering his seventh season on the Chiefs' coaching staff.
By Tuesday, 810 WHB had announced it was pulling Kietzman off the air and would investigate the matter.
“We would like to thank Kevin for his dedicated service over the last 22 years,” Union Broadcasting, Inc. president Chad Boeger said Friday in the statement. “Kevin has been a valuable member of the Sports Radio 810 WHB team. We wish him all the best on his future endeavors and good luck moving forward.”
Kietzman had posted an audio clip to his Twitter account on Wednesday to apologize for the incident, saying he was “deeply sorry” over the comments he made on the air.
“It’s been my honor and privilege to host Between the Lines for the past 22 years and I’m proud of being a founding partner of this great local company that is so committed to our community,“ Kietzman said in the statement released Friday.
