LMU93
It tries to gauge fans "passion" based on merchandise sales, Twitter followers, etc. Utter nonsense. Calling the Browns 27th, after all that fan base has endured, and Chiefs 31st while giving the Patriots 3rd and 49ers 9th is senseless.
Living in Patriots country, ask the average Patriots fan to name 10 players on the team or their last three 1st round draft picks and you will likely stump them...
Yes.
The chiefs at 31 is incomprehensible. that is an incredible fan base. loud as all heck. passionate even more so. know some of them, being a royals fan since '70.
browns at 27 is equally head scratching to me because, as you pointed out, it should be taken into account what that fan base has endured. and yet they keep showing up. strong. in no way am i mocking them. they are the definition of loyal and devoted.
now, i've been to emory. albeit in 1980 to visit a high school buddy going there at the time. it was an outstanding institution then and i'm sure it's even grander now. but i think emory maybe trying to measure something that can't really be measured. like the weight of a soul, the value of love. the horsepower of a unicorn riding a griffin remote controlled by a leprechaun.
i put no faith or value in ratings of this sort but i do love that they put us at dead last. it sets up the opportunity to make a meteoric rise from last to top 5 or maybe even 1st in 2 years.
but the real reason i replied is, where in patriots country are you LMU93? i'm ct. my son attends college in the shadow of gillette stadium (norton).
