That’s all good news, but according to a new study, the Rams’ fan base is the worst in the NFL. It’s a study done at Emory University each year and it analyzes each team’s fans based on a number of factors. They include attendance, revenue, following on social media and fan attendance on the road.
The Rams are still building a following in L.A., which will be made easier by their success on the field.
For the Rams (and the Chargers), we should probably include an asterisk. Moving markets and playing in temporary stadiums can lead to questionable data. The Rams – like the Chiefs and Browns – are well positioned for on-field success over the next few years. The good news for these teams is that on-field success is the best way to create brand equity and fan loyalty.
