Mariota was there his first two years and then dropped off. Foles was there. Watson is there but doesn't have enough attempts. Mahomes same thing. Wentz is just a hair under. And that's just the young QB's. The threshold itself is obviously easier to attain if you look at how many QB's are doing compared to the past.
In 2000, there were 4 QB's who had a 5.0/2.5 ratio. Last year there were 12. Have QB's gotten three times better than they used to be or are the rules set up to protect and favor passers more than ever before?
