5 pocket QBs with exceptional arm talent.

Goffs style of play (pocket), his undeniable arm talent (you can't teach that) and his cracking td/int percentage in the red zone in college were the three main attributes I preferred him over Wentz.

I still feel that way and I think it lends itself to having a chance for a long successful career.

This stat along with Goffs starting record and resume (two pro bowls and a Super Bowl already) really are not surprising because we watch him every Sunday and he has been passing the eye ball test the last two years, imo.

Does he miss some targets down field or an occasional check down to a back?

Yes, but he's a young QB and can still improve.

I'm so glad we drafted him.

So far Goff has always improved year to year.

Don't know what his ceiling is yet. Is it Eli/Flacco in their best years? Is it Ryan/Rivers level? Is it more than that? Is it elite?

You can win a superbowl with any one of those levels, depending on other factors.

I expect a smoother, more consistent Goff in 2019. If that doesn't happen yet, then I will still expect it the next year. I would be surprised if he proved us wrong about any of that.
