I, too, am no big fan of “running QB’s”.
But I think Kyler Murray is “different”, and I mean that in the nicest possible way.
He wisely seldom exposed himself to a direct hit in college. Very Russell Wilson-like. I suspect that he will continue with that.
And his high school and college resume speaks for itself.
I was amazed at how long he remained still calmly looking downfield for a receiver before running. Extremely hard to defend against this kid.
Who knows when or even if the Cards provide him with a surrounding cast. Even a talent such as KM needs some help. But when or if they do? I see big things from this kid.
