I just saw a reference to Rams offense being suspect due to Goffs SB performance.
Really. How many of the teams who are now being elevated (media) were in the SB. Brees and Rivers didn't win enough and Colts and Falcons QBs werenot their. If one game does not define a season or career it makes no since to explect Rams ro be weaker at QB or as a team.
I agree that just a bad SB performance isn't cause to question Goff moving forward but when that performance is added to the Bears, Lions and Eagles performances it's understandable as to why Goff is trending downward right now.
Didn't have to do much against the Cowboys and the Saints game wasn't great until overtime. He had a real lackluster 2nd half to the season and some of his worst games were in front of national audiences.
Cooper Kupp. Losing him was a big factor. Todd Gurley wasn't himself down the stretch either. Too much looking at the QB.
Well if Kupp struggles when he returns and Gurley isn't himself due to whatever it is he's dealing with.......does Goff continue to "struggle" as he did down the stretch this upcoming season?
Is he truly a FQB that makes everyone around him better? If so then no.....not "too much looking at the QB"
