I pointed out what I was saying, and what my point was. No where in that post did I say they shouldn't draft Gurley. I wouldn't have, but what do I know? My point was, and will always be this: if you get your stud back before you get your franchise QB, you are wasting 3 to 4 prime years of a RB that has at best 8 prime years.
I also said I thought Jacksonville and the Giants also did it wrong as well.
You didn't type it in your original post per say but it was insinuated and you admitted you wouldn't have in you post above.
Team A has opportunity to draft top RB in draft but should pass because their QB hasn't developed into a FQB yet, correct? Even if Team A is devoid of talent at the RB position Team A should "pass"?
What happens if Team A has what they THINK is their FQB, drafts the top RB in the draft but their FQB ends up being a bust?
Your point is easier said than done in my opinion.
