This I will bet on--Rapp will not be a linebacker. He's a safety. It wastes a good safety to put him at LB. Rapp has superlative skills for safety, why waste those. Plus he's not even as big as Barron was. They moved Barron to LB because he lacked the very kinds of skills at safety Rapp has in abundance.
They made no move to supplant Kiser from the MIKE spot (which is basically a 2-down role) and so odds are they like him and he plays there. Littleton is the MO or coverage LB, taking Barron's place.
And Robey-Coleman is still the nickel back, and a doggone good one too.
Long will be an outside CB which means that in 2019, mostly he waits. Those spooked for some reason by Long's measurables should remember Chris Harris, Wade's superlative outside CB from Denver (the team that won a superbowl). Harris and Long are virtually identical in size.
I agree about Gaines as the starting NT.
Matthews I suspect will be all over the field and not just at OLB. I don't know who the other OLB will be...they have a long list of candidates, none of whom have shown much yet...but if there's a player in the group they will find him.
