Pre-Draft AnalysisEdwards has prototypical height and weight, but he has
shorter-than-ideal arms for an offensive tackle. He has heavy hands, and he knocks speed rushers off course when his punch lands on opponents. He has enough lateral mobility to effectively zone block, but he needs to play with better pad level at times.

The arms thing is contradicted by other reports:
"long arms": [
www.nfl.com]
"Edwards has the right type of frame (long arms, massive body with plus strength) to develop into an above average player" [
www.ganggreennation.com]
"Long arms that NFL coaches covet": [
www.draftblaster.com]
"Edwards has the size at 6-foot-6 and 308 pounds and the long arms to hold up on the outside": [
thevikingage.com]
etc.
His arms are 1/2" short of ideal for a tackle. Not a big deal.
Agreed. Since I said that a lot got cleared up.
The thing that makes Edwards a left OT prospect (along with guard of course) is his feet and general athleticism.
