I am not going to claim he is or is not a top 10 talent. But the PFF comments about him are a good example of why nitpicking prospects can cause teams to lose out on long term talent. Being raw and inconsistent should not be viewed as a negative. The desire to draft finished products is just a miss in my opinion. Draft based on what someone can do and what your coaches feel they can help him become. Not what he is in his last year of college ball.
I would think Tillery is squarely in the conversation at 31 (or after a trade back) assuming his work ethic and mentality are a fit for the team culture.

Good talent evaluation is not an exact science. Some teams are simply better at it than others.
