to me his post super bowl interview(s) he seemed a bit different. I understand he thinks he is good enough to be a starter in this league, but there was a seeming switch after the season is over. At that point it seemed that he wanted to be the man on his own team, not just being someone's backup. Doesn't make him a villain but when I saw this post season interview I remember thinking I can't believe Todd or Snead are going to like this...It appears that they didn't.
I'm not sure what you're referring to.
And just based on what you said, wanting to be the guy does not mean he was denigrating TG or being smug. It's perfectly natural to want to be the guy.
