He WILL get better if he's coachable. And other teams WILL see him as having gained a tremendous QB education if he stays under McVay for a couple of years. Just look what has happened to any offensive coach that was around McVay for even 1 season.
Bortles is a talent. He's won a lot of games in the NFL, but he's hit a wall.
If the Rams could get him for say 2 years for $5 mil, they ought to consider it.
And Bortles will nearly certainly resurrect his career in the same way Foles did under Pederson IF he can talk his way onto the Rams by offering to come on a "prove it" deal.
