I guess the reason why some might be surprised is because the Rams under Snead/McVay haven't had patience and waited for a player to develop. Maybe trading Ogletree and going with Littleton but that's really it

Many were a bit concerned when the Rams signed Cooks because I'm not sure the Rams had to have him... it was a want but did the Rams need a Brandin Cooks?
the Rams at some point are going to have to let drafted talent play
