1) OL Snead has made it clear that as he sees it, mid round OL picks turn out as well as high picks in the long run.
2) TE The Rams are not about to spend a high pick on a TE because with their 3 stellar WRs, there's simply not enough footballs to go around.
3) RB No matter what Gurley's status is, this is the last place they'll spend a high pick. Nobody is in his class in this draft anyway.
4) QB Obviously there's no need here to spend a high pick since all the money is on Goff. And he's proved he's a top level QB.
5) WR Simply no place for another stellar WR.
Bottom line: there will be NO high picks on the O. That said, they might use their 3rd round comp pick on a Center or Guard.
The priority will be D for sure. And that likely means at least their first 2 picks will be D players. Don't know which positions. This will somewhat be decided by what they do in FA. And the rest by how they stack their board.
I know Snead said that Fowler is the first domino. But I don't think that means that the Rams are ready to give him a huge contract.
With Mosley available, to me I bargain with him first. He is a far better ILB than Fowler is an OLB. And I'd be surprised if Mosley didn't wind up costing less than Fowler. As with Watkins, I'm sure the Rams have a dollar amount in mind for Fowler regardless of the market because they have a number of slots to fill.
