I’ve gotta say that a day one starter on interior OL seems unlikely from this draft to me, leaf.
Not that such a player would not be sitting there at our pick(s). Rather, that those picks should and probably will be invested in one of the 5 D positions that I listed until all are filled. Better value and much bigger needs, IMO.
Some of those 5 will be filled via Trade/FA, but the balance must be early draft picks. Just gotta do it.
To do otherwise would seem like ignoring holes in the bottom of the ship while re-arranging the deck chairs on top.
Assuming that Saffold is extended, I like our starting OL options for ‘19. I DON’T like having 5 holes on our D. I’m done with winning 34-31 or 54-51 shootouts. Lol.
