Yeah, I mean I'd rather the next generation OL come from in house too. Don't really want to pay a center $10M given other cap commitments coming. I think it's a matter of what does McVay and Kromer view as the better option- Allen at C and Blythe at RG or Blythe at C and Noteboom at RG. They must have thoughts. If Allen can gain 10 lbs. and get noticeably stronger he could be a viable option if he's put into the starting spot in OTAs.
Sullivan carries a $6.25M cap number in 2019 so I doubt an option is having him return as a backup. He either starts again or is gone (saving $5.25M).
I agree that, no matter what, drafting another OL (maybe two) in this Draft would be a wise idea. Even if somehow both Whitworth and Sullivan are back in 2019 they will not be in 2020.
