Why read anything more into it than a 24 yr old QB saying he performed poorly and will get better?

Some guys find fault with everything Goff says or does.

A fair critical position on Goff is to say let’s see how he does next year. Will he get better? We shall see. But I have no reason to doubt him when he’s gotten better every year.
