Goff has never had a problem with saying the right thing. He's been coached on that his whole life. Maybe his quote is a great sign of leadership but my first response was why didn't you do what you needed to THIS time? He seems to imply there was more that he could have done or something he could have done differently. If so, it's very disappointing.
He said something similar after his rookie year. He knew he was bad and promised to fix it.
He got better.
Now he’s saying he knew he screwed up on the big stage and promised to fix that too.
I see nothing disappointing in that.
But if you’re looking to be disappointed in whatever he says or does I’m sure you’ll find it.
