Who clearly adapted. Kept trying new things. Made a point to get Edlemen and later Kronk involved.
They were very creative offensively running 21 personnel a ton and throwing out of it. Stayed with the run even though the Rams held them in check for 44 yards in the first half. More than half of the Patriots 154 yards rushing came in the 4th Q!!!
The Pats offense was far more elaborate than the Rams offense in terms of trying to counter what the Rams were doing defensively
That is disappointing but it just wasn’t going to be our day offensively.
When the 16 yard run by Gurley got called back on a phantom hold by Sullivan and the Rams didn’t recover from it. I knew they were in trouble. I actually got out of my chair and started pacing at that point.
