We have 4 high cost starters that are free agents: Joyner, Suh, Fowler and Saffold. With 35.7 mil we cannot resign all those guys and our draft picks. Joyner seems to be the easiest to go without. I really think it depend on the price tag for the the other 3. They may get some huge deals on the open market and that makes resigning them impossible. I think they would like to resign all three of those guys at an affordable price.
Big Contracts that could be cut: Brockers and Barron. Neither has too much dead money. I doubt they give up on Brockers but Barron has been injury prone and we have a few prospects plus the draft is strong. My guess is Barron may get cut. BTW both have been playing really well of late. Also if we are unable to resign any of the 4 high priced free agents both of these guys may be safe.
Higbee and LIttleton are RFA and both will be resigned.
I think both Withworth and Sullivan who are signed for next year will return.
I would think that Fowler, Suh and Saffold all would like to return so a reasonable home town discount can be expected but if prices go through the roof we may not choose to compete. Saffold may be the toughest to replace as the draft is filled with defensive players which BTW may keep the costs down for our guys too.
